AN INTELLECTUAL OUTING

SHARE

The New York Public Library has been featured in many movies over the past few decades, so a visit here makes for a great outing whether you’re with bookworms or movie buffs. Meandering through the seemingly never-ending shelves is more fun when you can share the experience, so bring along some friends so you can explore this landmark together! Maybe decide on a book everyone can check out and read at the same time – then you’ll have the perfect excuse to get together next week to discuss the novel over dinner. The enormous collection of books here is impressive, but you might be tempted to stop looking at the books and start snapping photographs of your friends standing in front of the beautiful artwork that adorns the walls throughout the building. It’s best to use your library voice while you’re here, but that doesn’t mean you can’t chat during your visit. Just don’t let that frightening phantom librarian from Ghostbusters catch you in the act!
