Rooftop Bar has a great selection of wine, beer, and champagne. But it’s their cocktails with enticing names, including the Red Hot Chili Pepper and the Watermelon Sangria, that you must indulge in while taking in the fresh smell of the ocean.

At the Grand Beach Hotel Surfside, head to the 12th floor to discover a hidden gem called The Sky Bar. It’s rarely hectic and the bartender never forgets a face. Step over toward the street for a beautiful view of the city. This is a great spot for a date because it’s quiet and the scenery is enchanting.

Even though Bal Harbour has some of the most elegant locations, Sunny Isles is giving them stiff competition. AQ by Acqualina is becoming the go-to location for couples to get engaged thanks to its beach setting.
No matter the occasion, AQ is a great place to share with someone special. Start by sampling their refreshing cocktails, including the Thai Basil Daiquiri, Scotch and the Coconut, and Smoked Maple Old Fashioned. For dinner, start with the yuzu tuna tacos or the house-made hummus. AQ added the dragon fruit Greek salad as part of their summer menu and even though you might find it too pretty to eat, enjoy it! Order the lobster tagliatelle and flat iron steak with a side order of their creamy macaroni and bechamel cheese with truffle oil for the most decadent experience.
