SHARE

One of Miami Beach’s most exclusive neighborhoods is Bal Harbour, an ideal escape for a day of indulgence and relaxation. While there, you and your friends can browse a slew of truly tempting boutiques at Bal Harbour Shops, stay at a stylish property, and dine at a deluxe sushi restaurant.

Quarzo

You start your day by arriving at Quarzo, a luxurious boutique hotel where guests can hang out by the pool in complete and utter serenity. After check in, you and your friends settle into a two-bedroom master suite with 1,800 square feet of crisp, contemporary design. Once you explore Quarzo’s Zen Garden, you make your way to the pool deck, where you take in the panoramic view of the glittering Intracoastal Waterway. You see a small parrot land on the nearest palm tree, and pause to breathe in the sea air.

Sante Fe News & Espresso

It’s lunch time, so you all head to Santa Fe News and Espresso, an Argentine spot that’s ideal for a light bite. To start, you share a tuna tartare, and then you try one of the café’s paninis. You can’t go wrong with the Italian, which features thin slices of prosciutto, mozzarella cheese, and fresh tomato. One of your friends orders the Florida Crab Salad and insists that you try it. After one bite, your taste buds are dancing. You finish up your meal with a delectable espresso and make your way to Bal Harbour Shops. As your group strolls through the open-air courtyard, you look around at the tropical greenery and small ponds, where koi swim gracefully beneath the surface.

Trina Turk

This designer is famous for her vibrant, sunny style. Upon entering the boutique, you and your friends find all kinds of treasures: a lovely pink and orange tunic in an electric print, a mod blazer in brilliant hues, a sexy cocktail dress, and a bunch of swimsuits. Trina Turk’s bikinis and swim trunks, with their slightly retro, bohemian take, are designed to flatter physiques and show off your tan. After making your way around the store, you and your friends have a blast trying on all of your different finds in the dressing room. In fact, you discover an excellent addition to your wardrobe, a slick shirt that looks just right for tonight’s dinner celebrations.

Jimmy Choo

There’s just one thing left to complete your outfit: shoes! And fortunately, Bal Harbour Shops contains one of the most coveted shoe brands in the world, Jimmy Choo. Inside the designer’s boutique, you find shoe nirvana. From caramel-colored, crocodile-embossed leather high-tops to killer boots and stilettos, there are so many gorgeous kicks to consider. After trying on some of the brand’s latest arrivals, your friend decides to splurge on high-heel black sandals with sexy black tassels, while you treat yourself to a pair of handsome ankle boots. You never thought a pair of shoes could make you so happy—but then again, it’s your first time putting on Jimmy Choos.

Bar & Sushi Lounge

Tonight, after your group is glammed up, you head out to celebrate. You make your way over to the ultra luxe St. Regis Hotel’s sophisticated Bar & Sushi Lounge. From the banquettes to the murals on the walls to the orchids at your table, you love the atmosphere of this elegant sushi restaurant. Once you’re settled in, a sommelier comes to the table to help you decide on hand-crafted cocktails and champagne. As you sit with your friends, you soak in this wonderful, relaxing moment. For a starter, you decide to go for something new—hamachi with jalapeno—and then you choose the Rock Crab sushi for your main course. This roll mingles delicious curry and garlic with Alaskan King crab and sweet chili sauce. It’s a truly genius combination of flavors. Toasting each other, you and your friends agree that this little escape to Bal Harbour was exactly what your group needed.
