You’ve seen them in the movies: sprawling, lavish rooms that epitomize the decadence of Las Vegas, with spa tubs, mirrored ceilings, and dramatic staircases. But, believe it or not, these fantastic rooms are not just an invention of Hollywood. You can find them in some of the best hotels in Vegas, and some of them are even more impressive than you think. Once upon a time, these suites were reserved for high-rolling gamblers. But now, if you’re looking to stay in the most luxurious suites, all you have to do is ask. From private elevators to massage rooms, these suites, villas, and lofts have everything you want (and some things you don’t yet know you want) for a great stay.
When you look up to the top of the MGM Grand, you spy several private terraces. Your personal ambassador greets you with a drink before you take your private elevator up to the incredibly chic Skylofts. You are transported to what seems like a new world. The view is unlike any other you’ve seen, giving you a look at the entire Strip and all of the lights of Vegas. While you relax in your infinity edge spa tub, you contemplate all the things you might need from the 24-hour butler service. When your crew rolls in, you are stocked with drinks and snacks and ready to shoot some pool on your personal in-suite table. And though your stay will be finite, you are treated like the star that you are until the very end, when your personal limos drops you off at the airport.
The Villas at the Mirage
Believe it or not, The Villas at the Mirage have changed little since they were first created, but that’s only because some luxuries are timeless. You enter through a semi-secret gated entrance, and you enter into the most palatial suites you’ve ever seen. The décor seems truly royal, and the hallway looks more like a museum than a hotel. Outside you find your secluded pool area, with its lush palm trees, sculptured fountain, and putting green. When you dip into the heated water, you know you’re a part of an elite club. This seems a million miles from the Strip, but it’s not. Once you’ve been pampered, and have sipped a cocktail made by your personal bartender, you’re ready to hit the action back at the casino.
Encore Tower Suites
If you need some space to spread out, and lot of it, the Encore Tower Suites might be just what you’re looking for. The Wynn is one of the best hotels in Vegas, and offers pure elegance in the Tower Suites. You enter into your three bedroom duplex, and spy 5,829 square feet of high design over two floors. The view from your spacious bedroom, the billiard room, your spa tub in the bathroom, and pretty much everywhere in the suite is awesome, as you peer out floor-to-ceiling windows out onto the Strip and beyond. In the morning, your breakfast comes from a special chef-selected menu, and there’s no better way to start the day, unless you decide to begin with a relaxing in-suite massage. You swim in the Tower Suite pool, before getting ready for what will definitely be a memorable night out on the town.
