Jeremy is an award winning travel writer, adventurer, and photographer. He runs the travel blog Living the Dream (http://www.livingthedreamrtw.com), a long-term travel planning resource that helps get others out exploring the world for months or years on end, as well as Discover the Burgh (http://www.discovertheburgh.com), a local travel blog for the city of Pittsburgh, PA where he currently lives.Since founding Living the Dream in 2008, Jeremy has been on two long-term trips and visited nearly 70 countries around the world in Europe, Asia, Africa, South America, and North America. His focuses are adventure activities, culinary travel, and travel planning- amongst several others. He has trekked to Everest Base Camp in Nepal, visited the moai of Easter Island, dove with great white sharks in South Africa, consumed scorpion in China and balut in Vietnam, been on several cruises, and so much more. In addition to his website and online presence, Jeremy's first self-published book, "The Long-Term Traveler's Guide," was released in 2012. Outside of travel writing, Jeremy has a Bachelors and Masters of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, and is passionate about renewable, green, and environmental issues as well.
